Thanks for the reply Bob. I looked at this website but I only possess an ancient and feeble knowledge of scientific German and that helps very little in understanding the real world. If I don't get useful info from this query, I'll go down to REI and try to piece together the parts I need. If that doesn't work I'll dig out my German/English dictionary and then contact a friend in Hamburg. Paulchen changed their design many years ago and I don't know if the old style parts are available. Ed
