I suspect that in most disaster cases, the camper will be inaccessible or will not be useful as fuel supplies will be little or none and roads will be so messed up that driving would be perilous at best. Look at all the cars floating around Japan.... Imagine loading up your camper for bear only to have it run out of gas with no where to refuel. To me, the best prep is to plan for the absolute worst and get yourself in the best shape possible (yeah... right) Well, at least I won't starve to death first... "gulp".... So a good stash of rice, beans and water and hope to god no one discovers your stash and steals it or it doesn't get infested or destroyed......
