Aha! So I may not have stripped the bolt head or the bracket. What year did they make the switch? I've got the square hole in my '85. Is the '84 likely to be the earlier style bracket? I guess I've got to find my inspection mirror and look behind there. I guess I might need a u-joint to get in there if I have to hold the front bolt.
