That looks to be legit.
It looks like it is a bit beat up on the outside so that seems like a fair
price. I wouldn't think scam right away.
Yes there are a bunch out there so its always possible!   I just had a guy in RI
post a syncro on CL for a decent price and when I asked for some pix it wasn't
easy for him to take or send them. I did manage to get his name / e-mail and did
a search... found him on FB and HA! low and behold he was a photographer! when I
called him on it he fell off the map!

A Westy like that on Craigslist at that price, the first thing I think of is
SCAM.
