Dunno if this will get to Andree in time or not.

Hwy 1 south of Rocky Creek bridge just north of Big Sur is washed out
for the next month or longer.  Just happened a few days ago.  You can
get to Big Sur from the south, but not from the north.  Or in Andree's
case, he just can't go north of Big Sur if I wants to continue that
way.
