Well in the interest of full Friday disclosure ...

It's Mac OS X 10.4.11 (I think that's Tiger?). Not sure if i can upgrade the OS beyond that with the old Power PC chip or if the more recent upgrades are Intel chip only.

My two year old is pretty excited about my iPad (got it from work for some reason) and keeps poking my laptop screen. Not good! She's figured out the Netflix and Youtube icons and is going to get me into trouble one of these days. Thomas the Train is a big hit. She was counting to ten at about 18 months. Seems to be pretty bright. Maybe she can support me in my old age ...

Thanks everyone Jeff

I was hoping it would distract my 2 year old from the computer we use day to day. She mostly watches videos on YouTube or Netflix. Now Netflix won't even work with a PowerPC chip and YouTube is really choppy. > > Is there any hope with a RAM upgrade or is this computer beyond saving? > > Thanks everyone.
