Oswley just has never figured into my mind set for over 5 decades because I was never into the acid-freak scene of those times, knew even less about his Grateful Dead sound and logo contributions. But I always knew who he was, just haven't thought about it, never considered it important enough. Your post was informative and jogged my dim memory, as well as some news reports on TV, online and in the papers (yes I still read newspapers).

My thanks for your contribution :) -- Jim Thompson 84 GL 1.9 "Gloria" 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" 75 914 1.8 "Nancy" Full Timing Since March 1999 oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com *********************************** On Sat, Mar 19, 2011 at 1:52 PM, Rob <becida@comcast.net> wrote: > Am I at the wrong place? > When I sent that post about Oswley's passing I realized that 95% of > the list would ask "who's Oswley?", maybe 3% would say "he was still > alive?" and the last 2% are those who will forever have a connection > between the Vanagon they drive and Oswley.
