I could agree that new rebuilt starter could be faulty.

Don't really follow you about 'it will stall' etc. it sure shouldn't stall .......one wonders if they left a small hose off or something.

and if it does stall and you need to restart it, you always have to turn the key back to off before you can turn it to 'start' again. It's a non-repeating feature ..so once engine is running..you can't engage the starter again, unless you shut it off.

I only use genuine Bosch rebuilt starters and basically never have a problem with a new one..
