I know, it's 'our' list but the folks who have the power to toss me
off (and yes, I 'voted' them in) because , just because, gives them a
lot more ownership than I have. It is their list. <shrug>

Owsley and a lot of others are part of MY vw myth, most of them I
never met but they are as real & linked to this VW I sitting in right
now as anything else is. I can't even begin to count the number of
conversations I had with John Muir sitting by the side of the road
with his book open beside me, it was way later I found out he had
died by then. That was real, that is part of MY vw myth. Sitting by
the side of the road talking with dead guys with a 13mm in my hand is
total vw.... MY vw, maybe not yours but it is mine. I could be in a
Chevy van right now and none of this would matter or even be brought up <shrug>
If MY vw experience/myth does not fit the list then show me the door
but I really think this list and the vw's we share allows room enough
for everyone's taste in music & myth. Enough of that...

These beds... some nights I wake up great and others are like this
morning where I have to ask if I can move enough to stand up. Maybe
it's my age ... Does memory foam on the mattress really help?
