....on the hose from the front of the head on my inline VW transplant. Going on it's second year as a 'temporary fix' for a spit hose. I've done about 15k miles, two trips through the mountains to the desert SW...summer temps near The Dalles, Oregon at 113f. This 'rescue tape' is proving quite durable. Disclaimer: I do have the spare hose along with coolant in the van. Here's the Troll-topper part of this post....I am still quite happy without that blinking coolant level sensor light functioning AND an 'iffy' hose patch-job. So there! Pile on, gang!
