I'm indifferent about whether "Fryeday" discussions can continue over the
weekend - I haven't seen any objection, though, so that seems fine. If
there were really some objection, it could be useful to shift NVC posts from
Friday to Saturday, so folks who don't want to get online after work could
still participate.
But I do want to say that I REALLY appreciate being able to post NVC
comments to this list (my latest having to do with halogen lamps). In my
f2f life I don't know people who would have any idea about an array of
low-grade technical questions that come up from time to time. Every time
I've posted one in this forum, I've gotten very useful replies. I always
ask people to reply off-line (unless I forget), since my questions wouldn't
generate list discussion. I find it really handy to be able to tap into the
broad knowledge of people on this list. I wouldn't want to lose that.
