Your '85 already has the mounting points built into the framing (for lack of a better word) in the lower back. The end of the OEM belts has that "T" shaped bracket which bolts into those points that were provided from the factory. The higher-up mounting point is there in the C pillar and is also threaded. It will have a plastic cap screwed into it that you remove after getting through the liner. On the driver's side (mine's a Wolfsburg Westy with the cabinet) it looked like I was going to have to remove everything to get to that lower mounting point, so I broke down and bought the GoWesty one that only uses the upper C pillar mounting point.
