Well, here's a can of worms. You don't say which model van you have, 2 WD, Syncro or diesel. Then the two bolts, what about the nut that holds the big wire ? What about the other one or two wires depending on which model you have ? What about corroded terminal ends that need to be replaced. What about the bushing in the bell housing if you have a standard tranny (Bosch voids the warranty if this bushing is not changed) ? What about a whole pile of other incalculable circumstance that crop up when doing ANY job on an 24 year old vehicle ? I think you may have gotten what you paid for. Do you have a good relationship with your mechanic ? If not you should find one with whom you CAN have a good relationship with, it's the only way in my humble opinion.
