John..The TBD LSD's (Peloquins brand) works in both types..Auto and manual,
but are different units since the trannies are totally different internally.
The term LSD is a generic one for limited slip diff and the TBD is a diff
style (without clutch plates internally).
Hope that makes more sense. And Peloquins is the only manufacturer of them
to fit our vanagons.

So the TBD (Peloquin) is for automatics, and the LSD is for manual
trannies. Do I read that correctly?
What do you use when building up an LSD tranny for someone?
