Subject: fresh water level sensor

Just wanted to thank David Beierl, and others who pointed me to a source for replacement reed switches for the fresh water level sensor. What a really simple job! Soldering was done in under 15 minutes. Digikey had the part to me in 3 days-- highly recommend those folks. The only issue I ran into was removing the old plastic tube from the flange. It was glued in there solid, so I ended up breaking the tube at the base of the stem. I will glue it with some JB Weld and apply some silicone inside the tube, and heat shrink tape on the outside. It would be nice to find a replacement source for the tubes as well. Old plastic tends to break when looked at the wrong way;)

On a related note, Fred from Bus Depot informed me a new level sensor is in the works and should be on their site within a month or two.

Cheers,

Troy
