Yeap, I cut em some slack. They are happy, I'm happy. I also put longer leads on the power and ground connection wires so that I can lift it straight up if I ever need to remove it. I think that's what gets people in trouble to begin with. One has to bend the tube to get it out of the tank, and then the glass breaks on the reed switch and it's all over. It's not a bad design, just poorly executed and think we are all in agreement on that;)
