I appreciate what Joy has said here. Such has saved my bacon more than once, and being able to make an NVC post with responses referred to an off-list address has saved me endless hours and days waiting for Fridays for a response. I certainly would like to see that feature retained - being able to send an NVC post at any time, but with the specific request that any responses be off list.

Also, I would not object to any expansion of the Friday principle further into the weekend.

On the language issue - I like the "General" category pretty good. No need to trash it up.
