Personally I basically like the language rule. I don't consider it foolishness or consider myself much tighter wound because of that position. If you visited Honda go-fast forums, you should be glad we have some restraints here.

I don't find it so much the language, but the lack of respect and civility that I have seen accompany it in other forums, or any comments section after news stories or UTube videos.

But I won't be offended if we let rule lapse and people choose colorful words in fitting places. But I know some who can find TheSamba a less-civil place that they choose to visit only occasionally. If this list became so snarky, I'd likely tune-out too. Life's too short for constant negativity. Not that the two are always mutually intertwined.
