lol. few people agree with me on this it's always seemed.

I am likely not younger than you are.

and getting down to the floor and back up .. doing that all your life will extend your life by about 5 or 10 years over seldom doing it. Really. just like people who live in two story houses and climb the stairs to go to bed have fewer heart attacks than those who live on one level, statistically speaking.

it's really easier to work on it with it a couple feet off the ground .. where you can reach things on top and underneath .. and you work on it laying comfortably on your back with your arms in front of you ..

Hey Scott you must be a lot younger than me. getting up off the floor is a heck of a lot harder than working overhead to me. Also after doing a bunch you tend to know what to remove the first time so there wont be any reason for up and down,besides it doesn't take anymore work to raise or lower the lift. also laying on your back your arms are still up above you. Even changing the bushing this job should be under 2 hours, if you know to use a tap to remove the bushing and electric tape on the driver to install it. Syncro vanagon is harder later mark d
