For any other (mounted in vehicle) GPS newbs .....

When updating the maps on my new Garmin Nuvi 1450, I got a nag telling me
there wasn't enough room! (in GPS built in storage). I knew my GPS had a
Micro SD media slot so ......

Downloaded maps to computer, put GPS Micro SD card in a card reader
connected to computer (faster transfer rate I'm told), transferred maps to
Micro SD card. GPS now appears to access all the maps (Canada, US) via Micro
SD card.

My guess is that a Mega POI file(s) could be stored *and read* in the same
manner. Those with more GPS savvy minds will let us know if it's not
possible.     --  ;^)
