RE: VWs and Buses and Vanagons etc. Driving home in my first Westfalia I started chuckling. My wife asked we what was so funny and I replied "I've always said I'd never drive a GD Volkswagen." When I totaled that '85 Westy a few years later there was never a moment that I didn't plan on replacing it and after a two month hunt bought my '90 Westy. And I too can not imagine myself without it, warts and all.
