It was +next to+ impossible.

Inside rear tire, on the sand, about 400 miles from the nearest city (La Paz) and no AAA or tire services. It was two days before we got that tire off and we had to continue on one rear wheel for that 400 miles before we could get a decent used replacement tire and have it mounted.

And, the steering wheel came off in my hands while we were driving on a washboard road! I drove into our camp destination using some vicegrips on the steering shaft.

RVs are not for me. I forgot to send this last night.
