Loren, I've been acquainted with Otmar and his two stretches. First met in 1993 when I bought his 914 w/ a 2.0 flat-6 from a 911. I have seen both his Ford Ranger V6 powered loaf stretch and the present zipper stretch. He's had it at Van-O-Rama and BurningVan many times before he moved to Corvallis. In fact as early as a few days ago, my buddy Jero saw him going west on I-80 near Sacramento. Now he is apparently broken down in the middle if some desert 500 miles from SF with his mother. Both rear shocks blown out. Steve Schwenk is supposedly bringing him a good used set. If we don't pull this off, consider this an April Fool prank. It it all comes together, then you may see it on the road.
