Gotta pull the dash on Tuesday to replace the cable that operates the flaps the send air to the driver and passenger feetsies. While the dash is open, gonna open the heater box and replace the core with a new Behr one from Van-Cafe. Might as well replace the hot water valve, too. And take care of the gasketing that help seal the flaps when the flaps are in the closed position. Can anyone recommend a good heater-box-flap-gasket-replacement material? AND, what else is a good idea to take care of while the dash is out? This is the time to do it!!!! Many thanks for all the help. -- Rocky J Squirrel '84 Westfalia: Mellow Yellow ("The Electrical Banana") '74 Westrailia: (Ladybug Trailer company, San Juan Capistrano, Calif.) Bend, OR KG6RCR |
