Since the mid 60s, I've done the same thing for every VW I own and
even my 04 KIA Spectra EX. Just force of habit I guess. But it would
be nice to have the mileage figures at a moment's notice in the palm
of my hand. Notebook(s) go with the car(s) when sold.
Notebooks are cheaper at Target or Wally World- Staples & Office Depot
are TOO much $$ :)
