I'm going to let some electronics crackerjack answer that question, but my understanding is thqt the coolant temp sensor 2 will override, or work with the O2 sensor and enrich the fuel mix to keep the van from stalling until it reaches normal operating temperature.

Help me, Mr. Crackerjack!

Wouldn't my crackerjack O2 monitor show that? It does the normal middle-of-the-range flatline display while the ECU is waiting for the O2 sensor to warm up, then your usual fairly rapid back and forth sawtooth thing while driving.
