All I can get is E10. I'd be willing to go with the idea that your low
number may be due to environmental factors beyond your control, but I'd
still look for mechanical/electrical culprits (misadjusted brakes, etc.)
IIRC there was a thread within the last couple of years that compiled a
pretty exhaustive list of those things. Hell I wouldn't doubt that Scott by
himself posted a pretty exhaustive list of those things. : )
Have you ever driven anybody else's auto Vanagon? I've always thought it
would be interesting to compare the feel of two different but similar vans.
It could be that what any given one of us takes as normal from our
experience with our own vehicle is actually abnormal performance.
