Rob-- In my opinion these 15" Wheels from VW of South Africa known as the "Carat II" are close in that they are 5 spoke and can use the same center cap as the US VW 14" alloys giving a similar feel. I don't know if you're already familiar with these or the similar VW of South Africa wheels. I think Ben T mentioned the wheels known as the 15" Sunburst" wheel which are from south africa and not a bad choice. I think they are both getting harder to find. But maybe if you like the look of one or the other you can start that search.
