that's why I never ever *touch* any old air-cooled Bus .. they suck to work on, working on your knees, ducking under the engine door .. etc. On a vanagon ..they 'did it right' .. nice big fat engine cover and opening ..you are looking down at everything right in front of you .. super nice.
