Good thing you check things daily.

Sounds to me like fuel leaking from fuel supply hose and dripping onto drivetrain.

On the passenger side of firewall, there is likely a plastic fitting joining the fuel hose from pump to engine. This part has been known to fail (age). You may have a leak there.

Regardless, sounds like a fuel leak.

The oil should not be filled above max line. I usually fill mine to ~ 1/2 way between max fill and max line.
