I think GW's kit here looks pretty good all right. Bit spendy at $ 300 .. but .....thermostatically controlled.. and looks like very high grade hoses are used, etc.

If I had a fresh auto trans on any 'Keeper' Vanagon of mine .. I'd put one of these on ....price being the only downside that I can see so far.
