come on ken!! LOL i cant believe you condone cutting the wires.. ugh.. just take a small jewlers screwdriver and pop the terminals out of the plastic connector (mark their spot first) not hard to do at all, and you dont have to resolder anything..

do it the right way.. take the terminals out of the connector!
