One caveat - when those magic little beads of water get hit with a bright light they *light up.* Doesn't seem to be a big problem with a Vanagon but when I first got hold of the stuff I used it on my '84 Tercel and it was just great (and very satisfying to watch) until the first time I drove under big bright highway street-lights in heavy rain and the whole windshield lit up like the sun. The wipers couldn't clear the beads fast enough to help much. After that night I cleaned it off the windshield and just used it everywhere else. On the van I use it everywhere; it keeps the glass cleaner [than without] and makes cleaning it on the road much easier [than without*]. I don't try to keep it to the point where you hardly need wipers, probably put it on 2-3 times a year.

*Can you tell I think hung comparisons are 700% quieter [than the outside of some big old Ford]?
