RE: Rain-X Been using it for years, absolute dream for here in the Great Pacific NW. One note (just a rumor but that's good enough for me) based on what I was told by the guy installing the new windshield in my Westy. If you have used Rain-X on your windshield then the 'instant fix' epoxy injector fixes for 'bullseye' stone breaks in your windshield won't work, they wont adhere or bond because of the silicone residue from the Rain-X. I don't know if that is true (and for me a minor consideration) but just thought I'd pass it along. He also said there was another product on the market that did the same thing as Rain-X but didn' cause that problem but I've never seen any competing products.
