I would rarely flip that top open. The CH top is very thin compared to a Westy top. I'm actually concerned about the CH aluminum arms and springs being able to handle the weight of a Westy top. I have Westy here so I can measure it myself. The CH is more challenging because it is not on a vehicle now as you know.
What did you do with your CH bed platform?
