with an electric sender..I would expect the gauge to be fairly linear. I
wouldn't expect one to be dead on at say 40 psi and 5 % off at 70...just my
hunch.
When things get down to below 10psi ......
like a very hot engine and lowish idle rpm, and largish oil bearing
clearances..
at that point I don't expect a guage with this scale range to be very
accurate ..
like I wouldn't expect one to be able to accurately display say ...5 pis
versus 8 psi.
your oil pressures are exactly what is to be expected.
and I suspect..
with your oil cooler now..in the summer they will tend to be closer to what
they are now..
more so than they would be in summer without the oil cooler.
what wieght oil might ye be running this summer ?
