WetWesties member Vern is currently doing a Corvair conversion. It is about the sweetest conversion I've ever seen. Seeing as Vern (who's retired) has never not owned a Corvair, he does have access to tools, parts and expertise that we mortals can only dream of. I've been on his donkey for a couple years to put together a website, but so far, if you want to see it, you have to go to Bend, OR. I've not seen the referenced Westy up close, but I have seen Vern's. To be more special, the referenced one would have to be pretty unique. Vern's is. (You ever heard of a Corvair 5 speed? Me either. I've seen one though. In Vern's ASI.) Jim
