It's dead, Jim.  Or else it was a flaky contact and you fixed it (or
else it was a flaky contact and it's waiting the correct interval for
maximum frustration).  Pass it along and I can tell you if the part
is actually ok (and if you put in a return mailer you can have it
back to sell if it is).
