Chris-- I saw this yesterday on ebayz and your post reminded me. You've probably seen these ads from Gowesty for $10 carat alloys.

It looks like you don't get to see what you get. But for $10 I might buy a few to hold open my Bentley manual on windy days or to stand on to wash the roof of my bus.
