Hey Jeff, if you find the smell of petroleum products unpleasant, you're
driving the wrong vehicle.
Pull em, dismantle, use the Van Cafe instructions for reassembly and
install.
Have you tried gloves?
Recently, my girlfriend told me, 'you smell like machine,' and she liked it!
