Ken, Beetles are really fun to drive so you may want to keep it. Easy to rebuild, even for me. I just sold my 73 a few months ago, BUT had to rebuild carb, new clutch, gas tank, brakes, brake lines, MC, etc. My interior was crap and paint was crap. I asked 2600.00 and got 2500.00. Wife took the money out of my hands like I was a corpse. :-) Now looking for a riding mower(Cub Cadet) and they cost just as much as the Beetle. I shoulda modified it to mow the grass and I would be in better shape than just selling it. :-) Good Luck. Michael in San Antonio 91GL Weekender AT 2.1L 'Gringo'
