Ken, I've owned and driven bugs since 1972. :-) The 67 bug is THE most desirable bug in many peoples eyes as it finally had 12 volts and a larger motor. You do have to remember however that the 67 was a one year only bug in many many ways. It's rims, engine hood, front fenders, interior handles, octopus heater, outside handles, rear backup lights, were all one year only items and are not getting any easier to find. Having said that, I'd jump on it IF the bodywork is done right. Check the heater channels, the rear luggage area under the carpet, and especially around the area under the antenna mount, because water leaks down over the years when the antenna seal dries out, and rusts out the area to the left of the clutch on the interior side wall/heater channel. Email me if you want more info, I used to own a 67 and it was easily my favorite beetle. Courtney
