If you need to do the steel brake line, I did a write up here on steel and flex hose replacement:

It's wordy and needs editing, but the pictures should shed some light.

You may find different size flare nuts depending on how much you replace. You need a flare nut wrench(s) for the job.

There is a tool for bending the steel lines. It has a "wall" that helps line bend w/o kinking. Like this: http://tinyurl.com/3el5jko I had no issues using a piece of ABS.
