Hello, Has anyone taken apart the rear automatic hatch motor housing? I believe I have it right to re-assemble but a few items are confusing. Pictures are here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/62140935@N05/ #1 Shows both housings, top picture has motor and gears #2 Shows large gear removed and flipped over. The round notch concerns me, as with the motor removed the notch simply moves the plunger L/R (lock). With motor in it is rigid. On reassemble is their some sort of "set point" for the notch, or just install the large gear and the contacts on the other housing will simply center the motor/gear to were everything should be. #3 The pointed piece has a spring on the inside, causes tension when the plunger (bottom right) is pushed IN. As far as I can tell unless the motor is active, seems to be no "spring tension" on the plunger. Is this correct? What is this spring for? Thanks for any advise, Don (AZ) |
