In case no one's mentioned it, make sure the fuel lines are in good shape. Old ones can fail and cause these vans to die untimely deaths by fire. If you aren't certain they were changed recently, that should be one of the things you tackle first to ensure that your new ride sticks around for a long time. Numerous vendors here offer reasonably priced kits for the job and you can do it in less than four hours easily, while getting acquainted with the van's innards at the same time.
