It's been awhile since I added anything to the forum.  I had my 87 
westy mothballed for a couple years and recently decided to clean it up 
and take a trip from WI to FL.  I had remembered a post where someone 
had used truck bed liner paint on their Vanagon.  I didn't have major 
rust damage but lots of scratches, etc.  So I prepped it without 
spending weeks and used Herculiner on it.  You do it in two coats 
within four hours.  I couldn't be happier with the results.  I taped it 
off and applied it from just above the three covered boxes on the 
driver's side all the way down including the front.  Just wanted to 
share how happy I am with the results.  By the way,  1,600 miles down 
to Sarasota without a hint of trouble.
