Subject: lifter noise?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

We finally got the exhaust put back on without any leaks :) Now we have a knock in the engine near cylinder #2. We took of the outer cover and looked at the rocker arms. The second arm from the back on the passenger side can be pushed down about 1/4 inch or so by hand. The others cannot be moved. Is it a bad lifter? We also have a pretty good loss of power when the engine is warmed up-- Hubby was flooring it, and it had very little response. :( We took it for an easy drive , about 10-15 minutes,no change.. we had just put in some Techron in the gas,as per our mechanic's recommendation, then fixed the exhaust leak and now this. My husband and I were talking about ghosts the other day, he said he didn't believe in them... today he said he'd changed his mind.

thanks for any input!

Susie
