yes, its tight getting the reel out, but its doable.

Oh, wait, I am not sure about access to the screws on the metal bail that keep the belt from rubbing on the cabinet. 2 phillips head screws hold that on and I can't recall if there is driver access. The rest of it can be taken out, I did it a couple of weeks ago (I did not install that bail when I put my cabinets into my syncro).

The bolts holding belt to body beside seat, the "other end" to the reel, can be tight and rusted in if you come from salt zone. Spray some rust buster stuff on end of bolt, in wheel well, just for good luck :)
