Subject: Re: Strange Blinking Light on my battery light indicator - seems
              erratic

Light was going on and off on my 84. It turned out to be the plastic connector on the back of the instrument cluster that holds wire ends to the film at the rear. It was makeing intermitent contact thus blinking alternator light when I hit a bump. hoe this helps. Good Luck Bill Witz 84 Westy Tiico "Old paint"
