Well, I was pretty jazzed about attending Syncrofest. White, 91 Syncro AW. White as Fritz, hence the name. Just did the Burley/Abercrombie suspension upgrade deluxe and had the SVX running sweet. The two, in concert, were serving up deliciousness.....as in, this plus that equals delight. Yup, I was delighted! The future looked so bright, I had to wear my bikini, and so on. Last night we (as in me and my dog, Isabel) camped outside of Flagstaff in the middle of a hellish wind. There was debris flying all over. One of the debris was my antenna. ISYN! Really, I watched it blow, bend, snap and fly! While parked and trying to settle on the comforting thought of some past love, the constant suck, blow, suck, blow, of my rear window vents kept me up.....and off target. Four hours later, I emerged into the same world of wind, shaking Fritz to and fro and spank spank spanking him with the pitter patter of trash............ Flash forward about 100 miles, I was doing battle on I40W.....by this time there was no wind and the traffic was driving much slower than I'm accustomed to on the Interstate. I was right in there with them at around 65-70, when I feel a series of misses, or what seemed so, then an oil light, pulled over and engine died. I'm still with it and thinking about that bikini I'm going to wear. I'm hopeful and have no worries, so I say, what now Jesus? (BTW don't get excited, it's Jesus Martinez that I pray to.) I crank it and it sounds like a bucket of nails.....heh, the end baby. My ex texted me today. She said something full of joy, much like, 'You and Isabel have a safe trip and make lots of new friends!' I texted her back, 'yes, we did meet a new friend. His name is Jerry. Jerry the tow truck driver. My kids kept calling to make sure that Isabel was ok....'but is she ok?' .....'Is she?' No matter that Fritz's testosteronics were slathered, like a snail trail, across the Arizona blacktop. Amidst all this, I made the right decision. Well, the right decision for me. I had Jerry drop me at the Uhaul, where I rented a 10' van and a 'size challenged' trailer. I pressed on! Now I'm home and happy. My ex says I will be rewarded for my positive outlook and my brain is storming with thoughts of my next project...... As I drove, homeward bound, I heard a smack across my windshield. My quick eye spied the flash of an antenna....no way!

Miguel

Remember when teachers, public employees, Planned Parenthood, NPR and PBS crashed the stock market, wiped out half of our 401Ks, took trillions in TARP money, spilled oil in the Gulf of Mexico, gave themselves billions in bonuses, and paid no taxes? Yeah, me neither.
